Ranked by your crew.

DriveBattle starts recording as soon as your helmet headset or car Bluetooth connects. Distance, speed, curves, elevation and lean angle all count in your crew's ranking.

55,955 km, 66,332 curves, 1,207 hours: counted live from the app since the beta launch on 25 Jun 2026.

Live nav

Navigate to your crew, even while they ride

Your buddy already left? DriveBattle navigates you to their live position. When they move, the route recalculates. The destination rides, and your nav rides along.

Auto start

You ride off, DriveBattle records

Recording starts as soon as your helmet headset or car Bluetooth connects. From the Bluetooth device, the app also recognises whether you are on a motorcycle or in a car.

Privacy zones

The crew sees the tour, your home stays private

Put a privacy zone around your home. The start and end of every route are cut at a random radius before the crew sees them. Drag the slider and try it.

Nobody sees the centre of your zone, not even your crew.

Share-Cards

Your tour as a story card

Every ride can be shared as a branded card: route with speed gradient and stats in story or square format, or as a stats badge on your own photo. One tap is all it takes for Insta & co.

Every card includes the privacy cut. Your home stays hidden. Route, elevation and curves are real (Bergisches Land, 65.6 km). Speed and lean are simulated, calculated from this route's speed limits, corner radii and junctions. In the app's own video you see your measured values.

DriveBattle is built for responsible driving: on public roads, speed limits and traffic law (StVO) apply. Testing limits belongs on race tracks and closed private grounds.

Frequently asked questions

Through the active Bluetooth connection. If your helmet headset connects, the ride is tracked as a motorcycle. If your car Bluetooth or Android Auto connects, it is tracked as a car. You assign each device once in setup.
No. DriveBattle runs as a background service and starts recording automatically as soon as a known Bluetooth device connects. When the connection drops, the ride ends.
Yes. You can start and stop rides by hand in the app at any time, and tracking then runs in the background. Bluetooth only switches on the automatic start.
An optional call like a rally co-driver makes: “Right three, long”. 6 is the fastest corner, 1 the tightest. The device works them out from the route, offline too. They are off by default, and the settings hold a listening test. They are part of Premium.
Tap the block button in the cockpit and pick 500 m, 1 km or 2 km ahead. DriveBattle excludes that stretch and calculates the route again.
Yes. If a report lies up to 3 km ahead on your route, the cockpit shows it and the app announces it once. The data comes from TomTom. This is not part of Premium.
Yes, with the traffic button in the cockpit, from green for free flow to red for a jam. Colouring is part of Premium.
Yes. The fuel button in the cockpit lists the stations on the rest of your route, up to 2 km beside it, sorted by estimated detour.
Yes, with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter in the diagnostic socket. The app shows fuel use, rpm, temperatures and battery voltage live. The analysis per ride is part of Premium.
Yes, as a navigation app with its own map, three route types, lane guidance and a speedometer. A navigation from the phone moves to the car when you connect. Android Auto is part of Premium.
Yes, in Track Mode: lap times with sectors, acceleration, braking distance, lean angle and wheelies in one session, on closed circuits only. The app recognises 14 circuits by itself, not worldwide. The mode is part of Premium.
Yes, as a 20-second portrait flyover with speedometer, speed profile and flags at top speed, maximum lean and the highest point. The video is made on your phone and goes to the share menu. Only the lean angle in the video is Premium.
Yes. You save a ride or route as a GPX file, and a GPX file from other apps becomes a private route that you ride. Imported routes do not count as a ride and give no XP. GPX export and import are part of Premium.
Yes. You turn a ride into a route and share it by link, with crews, single riders or publicly. Stretches in privacy zones are missing. Riding someone else's route as navigation is Premium, your own routes are free.
Yes. On one of your own rides you choose “Ride again”, trim the start and end, pick the entry point on a round trip and start the navigation. It is free for your own rides.
In the settings you choose Off, Short or Detailed and can play a sample. The announcement comes before the turn depending on your speed, and the music of other apps gets quieter meanwhile. The spoken directions are free.
Yes. Without a GPS fix the app advances position and announcements along the route, in a known tunnel for up to 20 minutes. After the tunnel the display blends to the real fix, and the recorded ride has no gap.
In the Crews tab you tap “Create” and pick a name. You invite friends by link or QR code, and joining works with a code, a link or the QR scanner. Creating and joining is free.
Yes, in the crew calendar. You set title, time and meeting point, and members reply going, maybe or can't. The crew is notified and gets a reminder. The calendar is free.
Getting started is free. You create an account, start a crew, track rides and take part in the leaderboard at no cost.
Android is available: on Google Play. The iOS app follows in phase 2 and uses the same backend, so crews can ride together across platforms.
Privacy zones cut the start and end of your routes around sensitive places (for example your home) at a random radius before the crew sees them. You can turn off track sharing per crew. Maps are self-hosted and no data flows to Google & co. GDPR compliant.
No. Set up a privacy zone around your home and the start and end of every ride are cut at a random distance. Nobody ever sees the centre of your zone, only you.
No, it is about driving. Everything that makes a good tour counts: distance, curves, elevation, lean angle and speed too. While you drive, no distracting live display pushes you on. Tracking runs in the background, and the battle happens afterwards.
