All features
Tracking, navigation, crew competition and privacy: this is what the app does today.
Tracking & stats
- Auto-start via Bluetooth
- A helmet headset means motorcycle, car Bluetooth means car. The ride starts and ends as soon as your device connects or disconnects.
- Every tour recorded
- Distance, duration, average and top speed, curve count. The route appears on the map with a speed colour gradient, even when recorded without signal.
- Lean angle
- Your phone's sensors measure the lean angle. Handling detection keeps a phone in your hand from counting as 55 degrees.
- Precise elevation
- DriveBattle calculates elevation gain from a terrain elevation model, because the GPS signal is too noisy for it. The big sports trackers work the same way.
- Automatic pauses
- The app recognises fuel, photo or coffee stops and removes them from your ride time. Your average stays honest.
- Track Mode
- Lap times, acceleration, braking distance, lean angle and wheelies in one session, for closed circuits only. 14 circuits are recognised, not worldwide. Premium.
Battle & gamification
- Leaderboards
- Global, in your own country or in the crew, by distance, elevation, curves, lean angle and more. Car and motorcycle are ranked separately.
- Crew vs. crew
- Crews compete against each other as teams: total distance, curves, elevation.
- 100+ badges
- From the first ride to curve legend. On top come crowns for the monthly podium, a champion emblem for the strongest crew and limited badges that will never be issued again.
- XP & levels
- Every kilometre earns 1 XP, plus bonuses for staying within the speed limit, curves, elevation and new countries. Your level shows on your avatar.
- Free and Premium
- What stays free, what is Premium and how you get it: a subscription through Google Play, redeeming XP or the OG badge. Each gate says whether the server or the app checks it.
Privacy
- Privacy zones
- Set zones around home or work. The start and end of every ride are cut at a random radius before anyone sees them.
- You decide what is visible
- You can hide your top speed, turn off track sharing per crew and close your DMs. Each setting applies on its own.
- GDPR & data export
- German company, EU hosting, data export in one click and account deletion.
- No big-tech services
- Maps, push notifications and routing run on our own servers. Google Maps, Firebase and third-party tracking are not part of the app.
Maintenance
- Maintenance at a glance
- Oil change, chain, inspection, brake fluid: per vehicle, with intervals in kilometres and months. DriveBattle reminds you before anything is due.
- Odometer keeps up
- Set the odometer reading once and every ride is added automatically. Your mileage stays current.
- Matching intervals
- From make and model the app suggests manufacturer intervals. You adjust them when you know better.
- Service book & badges
- Every completed service goes into the digital service book with date, km and cost. If you look after your vehicle, you collect your own care badges.
Insights
- Your riding summary
- Week, month, year or all time: distance, curves and elevation as a big number with a trend arrow against the previous period. Bars show your most active days.
- Personal records
- Longest distance, most curves, steepest climb, maximum lean angle, top speed: each record links to the ride that set it.
- Streaks & heatmap
- Your weekly streak, a 12-week heatmap and your most active weekday show how regularly you ride.
- Lean-angle analysis
- A histogram of your lean angles and the left-right symmetry across your last rides show whether you take right-handers as boldly as left-handers.
- Flyover video
- After the ride, a 20-second 3D flight over your route, with speedometer, elevation and flags at top speed and maximum lean. Made on your phone. The lean angle in the video is Premium.
Garage
- Vehicle from the catalogue
- Make, series, generation, body, engine, year: you choose step by step from a vehicle catalogue. Only the next sensible choice appears.
- Exact down to the engine
- The catalogue goes down to the engine variant, for example “325i · 218 hp”. That way you compare fairly with drivers of the same model, and the maintenance intervals fit.
- Bluetooth mapping
- Assign each vehicle its Bluetooth device, helmet headset or car stereo. When it connects, the ride starts with the right vehicle.
- OBD2 fuel use and engine data
- With a Bluetooth adapter the app shows fuel use, rpm, temperatures and battery voltage live. Per ride you get fuel, cost and a fuel map. The analysis per ride is part of Premium. Cars only.
Security & web
- Two-factor login
- Protect your account with an authenticator app or email code plus backup codes. The second-factor secret is stored encrypted.
- Share location by link
- “Follow me” also works when the recipient has no app: you send a time-limited link that anyone opens in a browser. You see each other's live position, without an account.
- Public rider profile
- Share your profile at drivebattle.com/u/yourname with level, global rank, badges and crowns. Your rides and your home stay hidden.
- Web dashboard & export
- Log in from the browser too: stats, crews, garage and latest rides in the dashboard, plus the complete GDPR data export in one click.
- App in 13 languages
- From Czech to Swedish: you set the language inside the app, independent of the phone. Badge names and push messages arrive in your language too.
- Support chat & help centre
- Report bugs, ask questions, suggest features: as a ticket chat in the app and in the browser, plus a searchable FAQ. An AI assistant answers first, a human takes over.
