What is in the feed
The feed is the first tab of the app. It shows cards: a finished ride with its route and top speed, a new badge, a level-up, a new crew member, a date from the crew calendar, a shared place, a shared route, or a post with text and a photo. The card for a ride appears on its own as soon as the ride is uploaded. You do not have to post anything.
Crew, Nearby, Worldwide
At the top you pick the scope. “Crew feed” shows the crews you belong to and can be narrowed to a single crew with “All crews”. “Nearby” shows posts with a position within 30 km of you and needs your location permission. “Worldwide” shows only photos, shared routes and ride cards, no free text. A post you share only nearby does not show up in the worldwide feed.
React and comment
Under each card you tap “+ React” and pick an emoji. The heart is the kudos button for a good ride. Comments are open on all posts, up to 500 characters, and you can like any comment. Comments, reactions and news from your crew land in the notification inbox of the app.
Post something yourself
With “New post” you write text of up to 1000 characters, attach a photo or share one of your own routes. You pick the crew the post goes to, or “Post to all my crews”. A post for the worldwide feed needs a photo or a route, plain text is not possible there. You can delete your own posts and comments at any time.
What your crew sees of your ride
Crew members always see the numbers of your ride. They see the route on the map only if “Share tracks” is on for that crew, and always trimmed by your privacy zones. A ride that barely leaves a zone does not appear at all. Rides with less than 2 km of visible route also stay out of the feed. With “Hide top speed” on, others do not see your highest value.
Join a crew and report content
Without a crew, the crew feed stays empty. You start a crew or join with an invite code that you get as a link or QR code. The live map shows who is riding right now, messages run in the chat. You report images in the feed through the menu on the post, and a person on the team reviews every report. The worldwide feed allows no free text so that it does not turn into spam.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I see my friends' rides in the app?
- Open the “Feed” tab. As soon as a crew member uploads a ride, a card with the numbers appears there. It shows the route if the rider has allowed that for your crew.
- Does everyone see my rides in the feed?
- No. In the crew feed only the members of your crew see what you ride. The worldwide feed shows only what you share there yourself: a photo, a route or a ride card.
- Does the feed show my exact route?
- Only if “Share tracks” is on for that crew. Then the map shows the route without the area around your privacy zones. Crew members always see the numbers.
- Why is my ride missing from the feed?
- Two reasons are possible: after trimming by your privacy zones less than 2 km stayed visible, or the ride barely left a zone. The app then creates no card.
- Can I post text and photos as well?
- Yes, with “New post”: text up to 1000 characters, a photo or a route. In the worldwide feed you need a photo or a route, plain text is not possible there.
- Is there a feed for riders near me?
- Yes, the “Nearby” scope. It shows posts with a position within 30 km and needs your location permission.
- Is the crew feed part of Premium?
- No, the feed is not on the Premium list. Premium includes the curvy navigation and the offline maps, among other things.
