Personal records: your best drives at a glance

Premium

Which was your longest drive, and when were you fastest? DriveBattle picks six bests out of your recorded drives and shows them as tiles. One tap on a tile opens the drive that holds the record.

Premium: records for month, year and all time, plus the vehicle filter. The week is free. During the beta everything is unlocked.

Where to find the records

The records sit in the "Insights" tab under "Statistics", in the card "Personal records" with the trophy icon. It comes below the "Activity" card. If you have recorded nothing in the chosen period, the top shows "No data yet".

Six bests as tiles

The card shows up to six tiles: "Longest drive" for distance, "Longest tour" for driving time, "Top speed", "Most curves", "Most climbing" and "Max lean angle". Each tile gives the value and, below it, the name of the drive, or its date if the drive has no name. Distance, speed and elevation appear in the units of your app settings. Driving time does not include pauses.

One tap opens the drive

Tap a tile and the summary of the drive that set the value opens. There you see the track on the map and the figures of that drive. You find the tour behind the record without paging through the list.

Records for week, month, year or all time

The records follow the period you pick at the top: "Week", "Month", "Year" or "All time". "Week" counts from Monday of the current week, "Month" from the first of the month, "Year" from 1 January. "All time" takes all your drives and shows your record of all time. With the filter "Car" or "Motorcycle" only drives with vehicles of that kind count. The comparison is always against your own drives only.

What does not count

Drives that the plausibility check flags as suspicious do not count, for example drives with a GPS jump. They stay in your drive list. A tile only appears when the value is above zero: with no recorded lean angle there is no lean tile. DriveBattle calculates the elevation from terrain data and not from GPS, and the final value is set after the upload. A deleted drive can no longer hold a record.

Trophies right after the drive

The summary of a single drive also shows trophy chips when the drive holds a best: "Longest drive", "Longest duration", "Top speed record", "Curve record", "Elevation record" or "Lean record". The comparison is against all your other drives. The very first drive gets no chip, because there is nothing to beat.

Free and Premium

The week across all vehicles is free, and the records for it are too. "Month", "Year", "All time" and the vehicle filter "Car" or "Motorcycle" belong to Premium. Without Premium these chips carry a lock, and a tap opens the Premium page. During the beta everything is unlocked.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see my personal records?
Open the "Insights" tab and then "Statistics". The card "Personal records" sits below the card "Activity".
Which records does DriveBattle show?
Longest drive, longest tour, top speed, most curves, most climbing and max lean angle. Only values above zero are shown.
How do I find the drive behind a record?
Tap the tile. The summary of the drive that holds the record opens.
Which app records my drives and bests?
DriveBattle records every drive by GPS on your Android phone and measures distance, driving time, speed, elevation, curves and, on a motorcycle, the lean angle. The records come from these values.
Does the card compare me with other riders?
No. The card uses only your own drives. The leaderboards show the comparison with others.
Why is a tile or a drive missing?
A tile only appears with a value above zero, so no lean tile without a lean angle. A drive counts once it is uploaded. Without a connection it stays on the phone and is sent later. Drives that the plausibility check flags as suspicious stay in the list but do not count for records.
Are the personal records free?
For the week across all vehicles, yes. Month, year, all time and the vehicle filter belong to Premium. During the beta everything is unlocked.
