Weekly streak and heatmap: how regularly do you ride?
Premium
Do you ride every week? DriveBattle counts how many weeks in a row you recorded at least one drive. The card "Consistency" shows that streak, a heatmap of the last 12 weeks and the weekday you ride most often.
Premium: the vehicle filter "Car" or "Motorcycle" for the heatmap and the most active day. Streak, heatmap and most active day across all vehicles are free. During the beta everything is unlocked.
Where to find the streak
The card "Consistency" with the flame icon sits in the "Insights" tab under "Statistics", further down after the card "Personal records". If you have recorded nothing in the chosen period, the tab shows "No data yet" and the card stays hidden.
The weekly streak
The big number next to the flame carries the label "week streak". It tells you how many weeks in a row you recorded at least one drive. A week runs from Monday to Sunday, and the start of the drive decides which week it belongs to. DriveBattle counts backwards from the current week. If you have not ridden yet this week, that does not break the streak: DriveBattle then counts from last week. If last week is empty too, the number is 0. The streak adds up all your vehicles.
The heatmap of the last 12 weeks
Below the number is a strip of 12 cells, one per week. The oldest week is on the left, the current one on the right. A grey cell means no drive that week. Weeks with a drive are green, in three shades. The shade comes from the distance of that week compared with your longest week among these 12: up to about a third of it the cell is light, up to about two thirds medium, above that fully coloured. The legend "Less" to "More" under the strip explains the colours.
Your most active day
Under the heatmap a line reads like "Most active day: Saturday". That is the weekday on which you recorded the most drives. It counts drives, not kilometres, and all your drives, not only those of the last 12 weeks. With no recorded drive the line does not appear.
The time range changes nothing
The chips "Week", "Month", "Year" and "All time" at the top of the tab control the summary, the bar chart and the records. Streak, heatmap and most active day do not depend on them: the strip always shows the last 12 weeks. If the chosen period holds no drive, the tab shows only "No data yet" and hides the card "Consistency" as well.
What does not count
Drives that the plausibility check flags as suspicious do not count for the streak, the heatmap or the most active day, for example drives with a GPS jump. They stay in your drive list. A drive counts once it is uploaded. Without a network it stays on your phone and is sent later. If you delete the only drive of a week, that week no longer counts.
Where else the streak shows up
In the profile a pill with a flame shows the length of your streak as soon as it is above 0. If you tap the XP bar, "Your journey" opens. There the streak appears as "weeks active", with a row of 8 dots below it, one per week: active weeks are green, the current week without a drive is pale orange, the rest are grey. Below that comes the hint "Ride at least once a week to keep your streak." The streak also pays XP: 25 XP times the length of the streak, 250 at most, credited with the first upload of the new week. Streaks of 2, 4, 12, 26 and 52 weeks earn badges.
Free and Premium
The card "Consistency" is free, and so is the streak. The vehicle filter "Car" or "Motorcycle" at the top of the tab belongs to Premium: with it, the heatmap and the most active day show only drives with vehicles of that kind. The streak stays the same, it always counts all vehicles. Without Premium the filter carries a lock, and a tap opens the Premium page. During the beta everything is unlocked.
