Service log in the app: every service with date, km and cost

Every completed service goes into the vehicle's service log in DriveBattle automatically: with date, odometer reading, cost and note. You open the history at any time, correct entries and earn four badges for looking after your vehicle. It works for motorcycles and cars.

What the service log holds

For each entry DriveBattle stores the name of the item, for example "Oil change", plus the date, the odometer reading and the cost. A note of up to 500 characters is possible. Cost and note are optional. The list shows every entry with name, amount in euros, date, odometer reading and note. Each vehicle keeps its own service log.

How an entry is created

In maintenance you tap "Done" on the item. Date and odometer are prefilled with today and the current reading, and you can change both. There are also "Cost (optional)" and "Note (optional)". "Save" creates the entry, and the item's interval restarts from that reading. You add last week's appointment with the real date. You enter the date as YYYY-MM-DD.

Opening the history

In the settings under "Vehicles", open the vehicle's maintenance. At the top right, next to the title, a history icon opens the "Service log". The list shows the latest 200 entries, newest first. As long as nothing is logged, it says "No entries yet."

Editing or deleting entries

Every entry has two icons. "Edit entry" opens date, odometer, "Cost (optional)" and "Note (optional)". "Delete entry" removes a wrong entry after a confirmation. If this changes the newest entry of an item, DriveBattle recalculates when it is due from the new reading. That also applies when you delete the newest entry: the one before it counts then. Changing only cost or note leaves the due date alone.

What stays

If you delete a maintenance item, its entries stay in the service log. If you delete the vehicle, its entries go with it, and the rides are kept. The entries belong to your account.

Four care badges

Four badges of the care group come from the service log. "Wrench Debut" is for the first entry, "Wrencher" for 10 and "Master Wrencher" for 50. "Well Kept" is for 5 services you did on time, meaning before the item was due. Entries for all your vehicles count together. If an item was already due when you logged it, the entry counts for the first three but not as on time. The app checks after every new entry. Each of the four badges is Bronze and gives 25 XP once. Missed appointments cost you nothing.

Who sees what

Only you see entries, costs and notes. Like any badge, an unlocked care badge shows up in your crew's feed. The public profile shows unlocked badges, never costs, notes or vehicles. The page on badges describes all of them.

Your history, no workshop stamp

The entries come from you. A workshop enters nothing, and DriveBattle stamps nothing. If you need a workshop stamp for warranty or a sale, you keep the printed booklet going. There are no photos of receipts and no PDF export of its own. The service log is not a Premium feature. The maintenance page covers setup and reminders.
