Help and contact in DriveBattle: ticket chat in the app and browser

Something does not work, or you want to know how something works? In DriveBattle for Android you write the team a ticket and continue the conversation as a chat. The same works in the browser in the help centre after you log in at drivebattle.com. A searchable FAQ in the app answers the most common questions first.

In the app

Open Settings and, in the group “More”, the row “Help & Contact”. At the top is the FAQ with the search field “Search help…”. It has six entries: What is DriveBattle, Starting tracking, Privacy zones, Joining crews, Free or Premium and Deleting your account. If the search finds nothing, the app offers “Contact us”. Under “How can we help?” there are three quick paths: “Report a bug”, “Suggest a feature” and “Ask a question”.

The ticket

A ticket has a category, a subject of up to 200 characters and a message of up to 4000 characters. There are ten categories, including “Report a bug”, “Account & login”, “Premium”, “Privacy”, “Crews”, “Tracking” and “Map & navigation”. There are no attachments or screenshots, so describe the problem in words. The message may contain Markdown, such as bold text, lists and links.

The chat in the ticket

Replies appear as a chat history in the ticket, with the status “Open”, “Answered” or “Closed”. A counter on the ticket and on the row “Help & Contact” shows unread replies. When the team replies, the app sends a push notification that opens the ticket. “Mark as resolved” closes a ticket. If you write into it again later, it reopens by itself. You only see your own tickets, and a ticket stays visible for 30 days after the last activity.

The DriveBattle assistant

A new ticket is answered first by the “DriveBattle assistant”, an AI service. The reply follows as a push after a few seconds up to about half a minute. Every such reply carries the note “Automatic reply - a human reads along.” If the assistant cannot answer with confidence, or you ask for a human, the team takes over. Once a team member replies, the assistant no longer writes in that ticket. The assistant receives neither your email address nor your password nor your GPS tracks. The privacy policy names who runs the service and which data it receives.

In the browser

The help centre is at drivebattle.com/support. After you log in, you reach it with the button “Help & Contact” in the web dashboard. It holds the same tickets as the app: a contact form, the list “Your requests” and the chat of each ticket. The interface comes in all 13 languages of the website. The pages are blocked for search engines and need an account.

How many tickets

In any rolling seven days you can open two new tickets, five with Premium. Replies in existing tickets do not count. At the limit the app shows when the next ticket is possible. This page promises no time for the team's reply. The app says “Reply usually within a day”.
